Susan Christiansen

Susan J. Christiansen serves as an Accounting Assistant at DrillDown Solution, where she plays a vital role in delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping services to small business clients across a wide range of industries—from healthcare professionals and therapists to electricians, plumbers, and more. Since joining the firm in 2013, Susan has become known for her reliability, work ethic, and commitment to helping clients maintain strong financial systems that support long-term growth.

With over four decades of experience in accounting and business operations, Susan brings both technical skill and real-world insight to her work. She is particularly passionate about streamlining processes through automation and often recommends tools like QuickBooks and Bill.com to simplify workflows and reduce administrative burdens for clients. Her attention to detail and proactive mindset help ensure clients stay on top of monthly reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, sales tax filings, and state registrations.

Before joining DrillDown, Susan spent 20 years at Computer Technology Resources Inc., where she served as Accounting Manager and later as COO. In this role, she oversaw day-to-day operations and contract fulfillment for large-scale government clients, including the County of San Diego, which had over 14,000 employees. She managed a team of more than 20 employees and led negotiations, departmental oversight, and client service under the direction of Northrup Grumman.

Known for “getting the job done on time,” Susan attributes her success to hard work, curiosity, and a team-first mentality. She believes in treating others the way she would want to be treated, a philosophy that has earned her the trust and appreciation of clients and colleagues alike.

Susan lives in Saratoga Springs, Utah, and enjoys golf, quilting, and cycling—recently discovering a passion for bike riding with plans to complete a bike tour in the next year. Originally from Eastern Oregon, she has been married for 53 years and is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother to six grandchildren.
